The soft butter at room temperature mixes with the sugar until it becomes like a cream. Add the yogurt and mix well. Flour mixed with baking powder is easily incorporated into the composition. Whisk the egg whites with a pinch of salt and with movements from bottom to top they are incorporated into the composition.

Pour half of the composition into a cake pan greased with butter and lined with flour. Sift the cocoa through a fine sieve, forming a fluffy layer of cocoa. Lightly pour the rest of the composition and put the tray in the oven over medium heat, until nicely browned. The toothpick test is performed for safety.

Leave to cool then slice.

A very easy cake recipe to make, suitable in the morning with a glass of milk or a huge cup :)) of coffee. ;)



For this recipe you need a mixer or a food processor, and a bigger cake will come out of these ingredients. Let's see how simple it is!

Mix the egg whites with a little salt. When it starts to swell, add the lemon juice. Then gradually add the sugar and mix until you get a strong meringue. Remove the cake from the mold and let it cool a bit, then gently unwrap the baking paper on the edges and let it cool completely.

At the end, powder it with sugar and cut it into slices. The egg white cake is delicious and fragrant and I hope you try it too!

  • 200 g flour

  • 10 egg whites

Pour the composition into a cake pan, on the baking sheet to remove more easily. My tray is a small one, 10 x 20 cm and 5 cm high and I had to divide the quantity into 2. So I made 2 cakes.

Keep it in the oven for 35 minutes and then let it cool completely before cutting it.

it is preferable for the cake to cool evenly and I advise you to remove it from the tray immediately after removing it from the oven. Baking paper helps this a lot.
